With custom framing you are paying for quality workmanship and first grade materials; plus your treasured items never leave our care and the person who designs your work completes the job.

We also provide a custom mat cutting service that enables us to cut shapes such as rectangles, ovals, hearts, diamonds etc as well as "V" grooves and intricate corner details. All of your individual framing designs are saved on our data base and can be reproduced in years to come.
COnservation methods and materials
Some people don't realise the important role conservation practises play when framing your work. On occasion customers have brought in work that has been glued down or hinged incorrectly which cannot be recovered. All aspects of the framing process play a role in the outcome of how the work will be preserved for future generations.
Glazing- Some people underrate the importance of correct glazing to ensure the longevity of their work. We offer 6 different types of glass and 2 different types of acrylic each with its own specific purpose.
Museum Glass®
Museum Glass® anti-reflection picture framing glass with Conservation Grade UV Protection is the best glazing option available for art, photographs and other important personal keepsakes. Along with its nearly invisible finish, it effectively blocks up to 99% of harmful indoor and outdoor UV light rays so framed pieces remain clearer and brighter for longer.

Premium Clear
Premium Clear glass is the highest quality regular framing glass available.
Conservation Clear® Acrylic Conservation Clear® Acrylic with its UV filtering technology protects works of art from the harmful effects of indoor and outdoor UV light rays. Over time, the ultraviolet rays in everyday indoor and outdoor light take a toll on artwork. Paper can become faded, discolored and brittle, causing irreversible damage that ruins the works of art. Conservation Clear Acrylic provides 98% UV protection to help protect art from fading by blocking harmful indoor and outdoor light rays, preserving art for years longer than regular acrylic. Premium Clear Acrylic Premium Clear Acrylic is a general-purpose glazing for indoor framing. Matting And Backing Board- It is a common misconception that mat boards are only used for decoration purposes when framing, however their aesthetic appeal is their second purpose when framing. The first and most important purpose it to provide an air gap between the work and the glass. If the glass is directly in contact with the work there is a possibility that the work may fuse to the glass and will become unrecoverable. The second misconception being that all mat boards and backing boards are created equal. Correct matting and mounting products are used by museums and framers around the world to ensure the future of their priceless treasures. We provide both conservation and non conservation products to suit your needs, although we always recommend the use of conservation products.
Timber Moulding- Frames are referred to as mouldings in the framing industry. We only use timber mouldings to frame your work. Many people are unaware that by framing their work in synthetic or plastic mouldings, could cause damage to the work as they may emit gas under the glass.
ReStoration
We also provide a restoration service for photographs, paintings, war medals and various other items. We can also have your items professionally cleaned or restored as this is a great way to preserve your family treasures for future generations. As well as restoration of war medals we are also able to attain replica or miniature sets which can be framed or worn.
Mirrors
Mirrors are a great way to create the impression of space in any interior as well as being a decor item. We are able to custom size your mirror to the exact dimensions that you require. Your mirror can come flat or with a bevelled edge and framed to match your decor.
