About the artist

Rodney can be described as a traditional landscape painter and in his work the influences of the Heidelberg School, Lloyd Rees, J. Turner and Arthur Boyd can be seen. With his great attention to the effects of light on the landscape, he manages to capture the essence of Australia. Rodney has received over 64 major awards including the Victorian Artists’ of the Year Award.
