ABOUT THE ARTIST

Julie started painting in 1985 after a weekend workshop with tutor Robyn Kittelty, from then on she has been a self taught artist. For the next 15 years Julie's works were predominately done in oil, after that she began using many different mediums including watercolour, acrylic and pastels.

She has won many major awards at regional art shows in Victoria and South Australia. Julie draws inspiration from anything and everything, landscapes, flowers and portraits just to name a few. Julie's work can be described as fresh, vibrant and impressionistic.
