ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kim Kennedy is a self taught Contemporary Artist who began his artistic career in 1982. Initially his art took form in metal sculptures and culminated with a commissioning with the Australian Tourism Association that now stands in Canberra.
With that success he began painting with oil on canvas and discovered his true passion. Painting is now Kim's primary focus.
October 2000 saw the official launch of Bentley Manhattan's new showroom and gallery on Madison Avenue New York. A large cross section of Kim's work is displayed here, including a 11ft x 6ft painting depicting the death of Australian explorer William O'Hara Burke.
Kim Kennedy has had international exhibitions in Los Angeles, California, Utah, New York and Germany as well as all major captital cities in Australia. His work also features in private collections in Australia, South Africa, Ireland, UK, Hawaii, Canada, Hong Kong, West Germany and New Zealand.
